I can't believe it! After 19 years of waiting, I finally got my mission call....to the Dominican Republic! I am so excited to serve in such a poor country where the people are humble and happy. Not to mention, I get to be with black people that speak Spanish! haha :) I know the Lord has a hand in my life, and He knows exactly where I need to serve. Now I just need to learn to adjust to the heat.....but who knows! Maybe I'll come back a little less white! I can't wait to go down there and change lives (especially mine). The Lord has blessed me in so many ways throughout my life, and now I have a chance to share His love with others and to help them come unto Christ through baptism. I love this gospel with all my heart and I can't wait to serve!

4 9  d a y s  a n d  c o u n t i n g!

Now behold, a marvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men.

Therefore, O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind, and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day.

Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work;

For behold, the field is white already to harvest; and lo, he that thrusteth in his sickle with his might, the same layeth up in store that he perisheth not, but bringeth salvation to his soul;

And faith, hope, charity, and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualify him for the work.

Remember faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, godliness, charity, humility, diligence.

Ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Amen.
